We ensure all our Code Collabs Teachers are

Our approach

Personalised

Every child learns at their own pace, so our lessons are tailored to each student’s skill level, interests, and goals. From 1-to-1 coaching to small group sessions, we ensure each learner gets the attention and guidance they need to thrive.

Fun

Learning coding should feel exciting, not like homework. We use games, challenges, and hands-on projects to make every lesson enjoyable. New projects are released every 4 weeks and we keep children motivated to explore more.

Creative

We encourage students to think outside the box and design their own projects — from games to animations to websites. Creativity is at the heart of coding, and we help children express themselves through technology.

Interactive

Our lessons are highly interactive, with live teacher support, group collaboration, and real-time feedback. Students actively participate, ask questions, and learn by doing, not just watching.

 FAQs

  • Both! Our lessons cater to all skill levels. In 1-to-1 lessons, your child’s teacher tailors the curriculum to their experience and learning pace. In group lessons, the first session allows us to assess your child’s skill level and personality so we can place them in the group where they’ll thrive. We continually monitor progress and adjust groups if a different level or challenge would be more suitable.

    • 1-to-1 Personal Coaching: Your child will have an entire lesson to themselves, with a dedicated teacher for 60 minutes each week.

    • Small Group Lessons: Max 3 students per class for more personalised attention.

    • Starter Group Lessons: Max 5 students per class, ideal for social learning while still receiving guidance.

  • Lessons are once a week for 60 minutes across all tiers. For those who want extra support, additional sessions can be arranged at a discounted rate.

    • Young beginners: Scratch, a block-based coding platform that teaches the fundamentals without overwhelming typing.

    • Older students or those with experience: Python and JavaScript, both widely used in real-world programming projects.

    • Special projects: Students may also explore game design, web development, and robotics depending on their tier and interests.

  • No problem! Every lesson is recorded, so your child can catch up at their convenience.

    • For short absences, simply watch the recorded session.

    • For longer absences (2–8 weeks), you can pause your subscription, and we’ll hold your child’s place in their class.

    • 1-to-1 lessons: Teachers will wait up to 30 minutes before closing the session.

    • Group lessons: Access closes after 10 minutes to prevent distractions for other students.
In all cases, missed content will be available via the lesson recording.

    • Group lessons: Individual sessions cannot be rescheduled, but recordings are provided for catch-up. For absences longer than 2 weeks, you can pause your subscription with 7 days’ notice.
